Dumfries and Galloway Council makes progress with wind energy development

Angela Lamont, one of the Council’s Sustainable Development Assistants, and the rest of the Sustainable Development team, worked out that the Council would need to save an additional 700 tonnes of carbon to meet its future target, even taking into account the wide range of energy-saving initiatives it had already invested it – such as LED street lighting and biomass heating.
