New Construction Scotland Website

Construction Scotland will take forward some of the initiatives previously delivered by the Scottish Construction Centre (SCC). This includes the website which proved to be a useful tool for keeping the industry informed on events, research and relevant issues.

Climate Change Adaptation: Sector Action Plans and Progress Report Published

On 16 March the Scottish Government published 12 Sector Action Plans to sit underneath Scotland's Climate Change Adaptation Framework. The Sector Action Plans look to existing sources of information and research, to identify the key impacts of climate change on each sector and appropriate actions which can build resilience to these impacts. The Scottish Government also published on 16 March its first Progress Report on climate change adaptation in Scotland.

WWF Scotland wins ‘Best Workplace’ award

WWF Scotland was selected as the 3rd best place to work and top charity at the "Best Workplaces Scotland 2011" awards.
